The rest of my week...

This weekend has been nothing special, which is sometimes the kind of weekend you need.

I met my Mum on Friday at Chadstone and David Jones had the 5 piece Royal Albert set for only $20 more than the 3 piece set I purchased on Tuesday:
Royal Albert 'Rose Confetti' 5 piece setting, $119.00 AUD, David Jones
As this was an insane special (the largest plate can be used as a cake plate) and it also included the smaller 'biscuit' plate (which was the plate I really wanted) as well as the larger 'bread and butter' plate, I decided to purchase the 5 piece, then take the cup, saucer, and larger bread and butter plate and return these in the original 3 piece set I purchased on Tuesday, which I did with no problems.

We went to Wicked on Wednesday night, which was quite good with the special effects, however the girl who played Glinda had an irritating voice, and not knowing any of the songs made it a bit less enjoyable. We had Emerald Fizz cocktails beforehand which were only $14 (not bad for a novelty item at a theatre) and tasted tropical and yum!
Emerald Fizz cocktails (my Mum is not great at taking photos with the iPhone, she tends to click the button about 20 times, and each of the photos is blurry).
Today I started the Couch To 5K program. It was tough but not as impossible as I thought. The app on my phone allowed me to use my own music while I walked/ran.
C25K app
Afterwards I did some weights and realised that I need proper headphones as the sound quality is not great in the iPhone/iPod earphones and they keep slipping out of my ears. We went looking at JB but I decided I would buy online cheaper, along with a couple of other things off Amazon.

I am wondering how I am going to go back at work tomorrow as I have had at least one coffee each day of the holidays, and now I won't be able to get one. I think I might have to stop on the way to work somewhere, I have a feeling I'm going to be tired.
Hudsons Coffee in Myer makes great coffees.
Looked at watches which I don't need. These rose gold ones were really pretty. I didn't purchase, and this took a lot of self control. When you know how cheap Fossil is in America and how it is nearly double the price here it makes you angry.
Other things I have been doing:

  • Visiting family.
  • Baked an orange and poppyseed cake.
  • Did yoga with my mum at the beautiful Elevate Yoga studio in Black Rock.
  • Spring cleaning.
  • My 3000 piece Seurat jigsaw puzzle.
  • Drinking lots of tea.

What have you been up to this weekend?

An Afternoon In The Dandenongs...

Yesterday afternoon we decided we needed to conquer the 1000 Steps which begins at the foot of the Dandenongs in Upper Ferntree Gully/Tremont and finishes at the end of One Tree Hill Road. Our reward at the end was to be scones.

I have not done the 1000 Steps before, but we wanted to see if it was easier or harder than the Diamond Head hike in Oahu. Diamond Head was a tricky, but not impossible walk, it was tough at times but generally you moved pretty quickly and the view at the end was amazing. The 1000 Steps is a memorial track for the Kokoda Trail, and has different signposts along the way.
Going up the steps - looks simple, right? WRONG.
The actual steps start about a 10-15 minute walk from the car park, and they are brutal. You think they're not so bad at first but they just keep coming and coming. You often have to dodge giant puddles of mud. You have to let quicker people past you. You stop any flat stretch you get because flat stretches feel good on the legs. The steps get steeper and steeper and eventually you are basically dragging your body up by hoisting yourself along the handrails, finding an upper body strength you did not know existed. And when you finally get to the top? This:

This is the result at the top of the steps. Not even worth it!
Let me remind you of the view at the top of Diamond Head, for comparison:
View from the top of Diamond Head (one of the many great views from the top/along the way up).
You can read more about our Diamond Head hike here.

Anyway, I took about 40 minutes to do the steps, with many stops, from the base of the walk leading up to the steps (so the end of the car park) to the top of the steps. I was about 5 minutes slower than my mum and husband. I really struggled. About a third of the way up I thought I couldn't keep going but I didn't let it defeat me. Be warned - there is no drink bubbler at the top either!

After a rest and the urge to throw up subsided, we made our way down via the more spacious Lyrebird Track. This was at least a 20-30 minute walk down as well.
Happy to be on the way down.
In hindsight, I probably should not have gone to BodyPump in the morning of doing the 1000 Steps, but at the time I thought I'd be right!

Afterwards, we headed back to the car and into Sassafrass for some well deserved scones. We put our name down at Miss Marples and, with a 45 minute wait ahead, went into the Tea Leaves shop next door. We purchased seven bags of tea in the end! Some basic ones and some flavoured ones too. Looking forward to trying them all.
Some of the amazing teapots on display.

These cups were really pretty but they were about $250 each!!
We went back to Miss Marples early and our table was ready so we sat down for our scones. If you have not been to Miss Marples before, let me say that it is a real tourist trap. The scones, as you can see, are obviously baked in giant square tins and cut up like pieces of cake, which is a shame as you lose the crunchiness of the outside of the scones, and who has ever heard of a square scone anyway? The scones are quite nice, but if you're bringing Americans over for scones, this is not the place to go for authentic scones. I say scones, rather than Devonshire Tea, because Miss Marples does not do Devonshire Tea, instead calling them 'Devonshire Scones' which is just wrong, because without the tea (you have to buy your tea or other drink separate), there is nothing 'Devonshire' about them - they are just scones. My husband and I had a milkshake each (quite reasonably priced at $5 each) and my mum had a pot of tea (served in standard nursing home style white cups). Our scones came with only two serves of jam and cream, even though we had three serves of scones, so we could have done with more jam (I don't eat cream), but it was enough. Also, Miss Marples was decked out in Christmas decorations for Christmas in July and was playing really dreary Christmas carols (think 'Good King Wencalas' and 'We Three Kings') so that was a bit annoying.
Our afternoon tea.
We had an enjoyable afternoon regardless of the fact our afternoon tea cost $42.50 which is a lot for some scones and drinks, really.

Have you done the 100 Steps? Have you got another challenging walk in the Melbourne/Victoria area for us to try? Do you like scones?

Recent Purchases...

With a break from work comes shopping. Being that it is almost time for my husband's (D) parents' birthdays, both in July, we needed to do some present shopping for them. He usually gets them online gift vouchers (they live in America), but I thought it would be nice to send some stuff if we could as his mother always sends us presents.

For the mother-in-law: a beanie from Peter Alexander (was $22.95, down to $7.20!), Glasshouse Tahaa hand cream, T2 All Sorts tea bag pack - perfect for gifts.

For the father-in-law: Essendon drink bottle and Essendon polo shirt.
While we were in Rebel Sport shopping for the Essendon gear, we noticed they had a buy one, get one half off sale on all shoes, which was a pretty good deal. D picked up a new pair of runners, as did I, however I took much longer to choose (of course the ones I liked best they didn't have in my size in the colour I wanted). The ones I got were super comfy and I wore them to BodyPump at the gym this morning where they did a great job.
New Balance women's 890V4, black/pink.
I would highly recommend getting down to Rebel Sport because the sale is a really good one. My shoes were already reduced to $110 and D's to $90 so we wound up getting two pairs for $155!

On Friday I went to Doncaster for a change of scenery and picked up this shirt from Forever New which I will be able to wear when it is a little warmer:
Forever New 'Kitty' printed shirt, white/black, $69.95 AUD.
Earlier in the week I ordered some new Wunder Unders from Lululemon, the bruised berry/black reversible. However, I saw them in Chadstone for only $89.95 whereas online they were $99.95. So I got them in Chadstone then returned the post ones when they arrived at Doncaster a few days later. These are definitely tighter than regular Wunder Unders, however the purple is a really nice shade (will have to make sure I don't wear to high impact workouts as I think they will show booty sweat!) but they reverse to black with a purple cuff which is something different.
Lululemon Wunder Under crops, bruised berry/black, $89.95 AUD
I also spent some time in T2 and got Mint Mix at 18% off (I think the sale ended yesterday) and they were giving away a free box of tea to all members with a purchase - you could either pick English Breakfast, Creme Brûlée, or Lemongrass & Ginger. I picked Creme Brûlée, and it is super tasty! Smells like caramel.
I hosted a 4th of July dinner on Friday night so also stopped by USA Foods in Morrabbin and picked up some US goodies. This is only some of the selection:
Pringles Tortilla chips in Ranch, Cheez-its (eew), Milanos in milk chocolate and dark chocolate. I could live off Milanos!
What have you been shopping for recently? Scored any bargains or special items?

Diamond Head Hike...

During our stay in Honolulu, I was determined to go do the Diamond Head hike. I had heard the reviews and seen photos of the amazing views so knew I needed to get myself up there. Having read the reviews, we set out a little after 7 and were there and hiking before 8 - it gets hot fast, and was already really busy, with several people already coming down from the summit.

Getting to the base of the hike was a walk in itself. We bussed it from Waikiki to the Kapiolani Community College. From there, it was about a 5 minute walk along the road to the driveway entry for the state monument. You walk about 10 minutes up a hill and stop in a small lookout car park and see this:
View of the sunrise by Waialae.
After stopping here for photos and water (the sun is hot, remember), you walk through a tunnel into the crater where you pay your admission ($1 per pedestrian, $5 per car load). You then walk across the car park and up to the base of the hike. The beginning of the hill is up a paved road so is pretty easy, and there are toilets and a vending machine before you get started.
The tunnel you may just be able to see in the hillside leads cars and pedestrians into the car park from the main road.
The paved pathway quickly turns into an unpaved, rocky, dirt path, and you walk and walk and walk and you drip with sweat and you walk some more, around twists and turns, ensuring you keep right to let people coming down get past, stopping at one or two lookouts on the way up. Just when you think you're nearly there you have to walk through a really dark tunnel. You then think you're surely there, and then you hit a steep set of steps. After you haul yourself up these, you turn another bend and there is an even steeper set of stairs greeting you. To the left is apparently an easier option but it's apparently longer, so you clap a few times to motivate yourself and, after a giant swig of water, you haul ass up to the top of these steps. Then you turn the corner and you have a spiral staircase and then you duck under a ledge and you finally get to the top when you don't see the view. You wipe the sweat pouring off you, air out your sopping wet t-shirt, and collapse against a railing to finish your water. Then, and only then, you see this view:

After a few minutes, you decide it's time to head back down. On your way down you are met by several parties of Japanese tourist of all ages walking up the mountain, many in sandals or thongs. Then, around a bend, coming towards you is a group of big burly men, RUNNING up the hill.

When you get to the bottom you see how far you walked. You take a photo which doesn't do it justice.
The summit is the tiny white speck you can see at the top of the first peak there - that is the platform you can stand on.
The Diamond Head hike isn't easy. It's not super hard, but although I'm fitter than I was a year ago, I'm not the fittest out there. It's worth it for the great views at the top, but you definitely need to get there around 7 so it's not too hot - possibly earlier in the Summer. It's about 35-45 minutes to the top so allow 2-2.5 hours for a round trip from Waikiki. Bring plenty of water - I took a 600ml bottle as I was carting along all my photography equipment but I could have easily had a litre. It's a nice way to start a day and something completely different from everything else on offer in Waikiki/Honolulu. Just a tip - once you've done this in the morning, don't go spend the afternoon trawling the Ala Moana Center for 5 hours. Instead of shopping your heart out, go sit on the beach instead and relax!

Smoothie of the Day...

Towards the end of last year, I started bringing smoothies to work for morning tea to up my fruit/veg intake as well as fibre. Everyone was getting on board and sharing their smoothie recipes. Now I'm on holidays, I'm still making them as I find them to be a filling and tasty treat for satisfying post-gym hunger.

Usually I just use whatever looks nice or appeals to me on the day I make it, and I seem to make enough that it will last for two days (for morning tea at work). Here is what I made this morning to have after a very hot and crowded BodyPump class:

Tropical Refuel Smoothie

Throw in a good handful of green grapes, a mango cut up, and the pulp from a passionfruit.
Add your liquids - a splash of mango nectar, OJ (I love Nudie), and half a can of coconut water (about 150-175 ml) - coconut water has been my best find of the latter part of 2013 - it's good for you, low calories, and makes every smoothie taste tropical. I don't like dairy smoothies so this gives some good flavour. You can get the coconut water cans from the Asian food section in your supermarket; they're usually on special for about 2 for $2.50 but they shouldn't regularly cost you more than $1.50 per can.

I also throw in some Metamucil for a fibre boost and chia seeds as they're some rot of superfood, and I think also high in fibre.

Add some ice - this gives it some thickness to the smoothie and also keeps it cold.  I added 10 cubes here.

Blend! You need a good blender for this - something with a sturdy glass and solid blades. Mine is a Russell Hobbs blender which came with a food processor as an interchangeable device. It's really good and does a great job for smoothies and milkshakes. My old blender was a cheapo Sunbeam one from Target and was plastic with crappy blades, and smelled like it was burning when you blended anything (even a milkshake with no ice) - so you get what you pay for.

Voila! Serve and enjoy.
What do you like to eat post-workout? Will you make yourself a smoothie to keep cool over this awful heatwave we're going to have in Melbourne this week? I have to go in to work this afternoon so will be putting the air con on there and have only half opened all the curtains in my house. I HATE the heat - about 23 is my limit - and I am finding it stupid that I will be going to Hawaii to cool off.

Shopping, Shopping, Shopping!

Today I have gone on a spending spree. I have spent way too much money on clothes I want and don't necessarily need. First stop: Jeanswest:

I pick up a nice mint coloured t-shirt and it's $30.

Jeanswest Connie Self Stripe T-Shirt, mint, $29.99 AUD

I go to the counter and get told there's 2 for $35 so I should get another top for another $5. As usual, when confronted with the two for X dollars I can't find anything else I like. Therefore, I literally get two and get two of the same top, but in different colours:
...or two for $35.00 AUD.
I also purchase my favourite body wash from The Body Shop, where the sales girl is not too irritating and doesn't try and make ridiculous prying conversation with me as they usually do in The Body Shop and she doesn't ask me to donate my change to some random cause so the trip is quite stress-free:
The Body Shop Shea Shower Cream, 250 ml, $12.95 AUD
Later today, I go to Lululemon and spend way too much money on workout gear to make me feel good when I go to the gym. At the moment I have a good pair of crop pants for cycle and a good Lululemon tank but all my workout t-shirts are cotton shirts from Gap and get super hot and sweaty. I spend a lot of time deliberating on colours of t-shirts, whether to get crops or tights (I decide on crops because it's getting warmer), and eventually pick out more stuff than I planned on going in there because it's all nice and it feels comfortable and I have nothing bright and happy so go the hot pink, and hopefully this all won't make me feel quite so revolting when I go to the gym:
L-R: Lululemon Wunder Under Crop, black, $99.00 AUD; Race Me short sleeve, raspberry glo, $85.00 AUD; Run Swiftly Racerback, black, $59.00 AUD; Serene short sleeve, white stripe nimbus, $75.00 AUD
Lululemon is dangerous. The girls in the Brighton store are all super nice and friendly even though they're probably judging me inside their heads for being a fatty coming into their store and squeezing into their comfortable and flattering workout pants. They all have great accents, like one girl who has a cool South African accent (one of my favourite accents ever) and the two girls from Canada chatting to me today like we're old friends catching up (even though I can basically get the same accent right here in my lounge room if I listen to my husband speak as he's American, but for those in the know a Canadian accent is different to an American one). They're helpful and bubbly and seem genuinely happy for you for wanting to work out. They even offer free hemming (even though I have a sewing machine at home) because I'm a shortie and their crops are like awkward 50-something lady 7/8 ankle skimming pants when I put them on. I will (try to) ban myself from this and any further Lululemon stores until we go to Hawaii in January where I will still pay a ridiculous amount for a pair of leggings but where the amount won't be quite so ridiculous as it is in Australia, and where I will hopefully be able to size down because I will be working out like crazy because my cute Lululemon gear will drive me to go to the gym more often - because if I don't I'm spending heaps of money on not only a gym membership not being used, but overpriced workout gear also not being used!

After my temporary loss of self control in Lululemon, I come home and proceed to spend over $140 on Asos. Why? I don't know. The last time I purchased from there (the only time) I returned everything except a pair of tights. Hopefully I have more luck this time.

Other shots from my week:
I'm not much of a sunshine person, but I flicked through Glamour and Allure while I ate my lunch outside before it got overcast and started to rain.
I worked the election last Saturday. Had a busy but interesting day. A few people asked if I was a volunteer. Um, definitely not! The day was full of all kinds of things and happenings. You certainly meet all sorts working on the election!
PBTeen Island Floral duvet cover and shams, $115.00 AUD and $33.00 each AUD respectively, plus shipping.
I changed my sheets to this lovely and bright Pottery Barn Teen cover. I also purchased one in pink for my mum. However, PBTeen has sent me everything twice. So now I have two sets of the blue and two sets of the pink. Don't know what to do with them as it would be too expensive to be honest and return them to the US!
Chicken and prawn jambalaya.
Cooked jambalaya last Sunday night with some cajun spices my Uncle got me from the Northern Territory. It was good, but I prefer my seafood paella.

Maybe I've been shopping so much because a cousin and my sister have both announced they're pregnant this week. I have had to adjust to my sister's announcement because it's pretty close to me and we're not there yet. I feel like literally everyone is having a baby around me and I'm not. It's kind of depressing. I'm thinking of doing a Carrie Bradshaw and having a 'I'm not pregnant!' registry somewhere to cheer me up.

What's been happening in your world?

I Think I Made A Gym Buddy...

My lack of blogging this week has been because my life has been pretty eventless. I have continued to go to the gym regularly and continued to not hate it. When I was home today after my workout, I thought of a quote I read somewhere - something along the lines of that even if you don't feel like going to the gym, you never regret the time after you've finished the workout, even though you feel hot/sweaty/jelly legged. It's very true.

Tuesday and Thursday I went to some free personal training sessions. The personal trainer is OK but is not super inspiring as she is overweight herself, and doesn't look really fit. Personal training is something that is not in my budget so I won't be continuing with this afterwards. I'm also really enjoying the group fitness classes and feeling like I'm working pretty hard in those without having the need for a persona trainer.

Thursday after my personal training session I took my new Lululemon mat to a yoga class. I've only been to yoga once before, a couple of years ago with a friend at his gym. It was the most camp class ever - he had the hots for his yoga instructor who was Canadian, and even though there was only one other woman in the room, the instructor kept referring to the whole group as 'ladies'. It wasn't a bad class (I think it was a yogalates class now I think about it) but I was hopeless. Anyway, the class I went to on Thursday must have been an advanced class because, not long after I laid out my mat in a back corner of the room, some middle aged woman came in and started calmly standing on her head, with perfect stillness and for several minutes. The instructor moved through super quick and didn't explain any poses, just rattled off the names, and I found myself struggling to keep up with copying the agile older women around me. He knew everyone by name and didn't even come to help me at all, but helped the regulars lots, which I thought was kind of rude. At some stage some woman was helped to do some back flip handstand from a table pose. Yep. Definitely in the advanced class. At the end the instructor did say I did well to keep up and I had some good posture in the sitting cross-legged pose (yay me, I can sit up straight! Gee thanks for that compliment). I wish that my gym would put the name of the instructor on the class timetable, so I know to avoid his classes in future!

Friday I went back to Zumba with the older ladies, which was quite fun again and a good workout.

Yesterday afternoon I did BodyPump again. The instructor is not bad but she fumbled around a bit, I think she was worried because there was another instructor in the room, which may have made her nervous. She has a bit of annoying habit of going 'oooooooh', or 'phwoarh' into the microphone when she's feeling the burn herself, but the class is a convenient time. Also, there was a newbie in front of me - it was nice to help her out getting the weight clips off and see her look around and tell anyone who was listening "OMG!". Nice not to feel like a hopeless case!

And then today I went to my regular spin class and this is where I think I made a gym buddy. I originally started hopping onto a bike to the left of a girl, and then noticed it had cardboard wedged under the front, so decided I wouldn't have that bike as it would probably rock, so moved to the right of the girl, commenting that the bike looked wobbly. We then proceeded to chat through the whole class, and wound up agreeing to meet for Pump on Wednesday night. She said it was nice to have someone to go "wow that was hard" to or just to workout with, which I agree with, so will see what eventuates there! All in all, the people at this gym are much friendlier than my old gym. People smile at you or say hello, and don't look totally up themselves like they did at Fitness First. The instructors are friendlier and willing to help. I especially like my Sunday morning cycle instructor as she gets off her bike periodically and checks on each person's stats and then tells you individually to push further if she thinks you can. Her class is also super hard but in a good way and she is motivating. I hope that she changes the music in the next couple of weeks, though.

Other random photos from my week:
Made my own slow cook BBQ pork ribs. DELICIOUS.

Paid $4.10 for a sausage roll as Fergussons was out of plain pies and it was getting on to 2 P.M. Insanely expensive for a sausage roll and nothing special for the price.

Made my own poppy and chia seed knot rolls. Tasted soooooo good.
Do any of you do yoga? Convince me to go again even though my experience this week was so horrendous!

Pilates Reformer...

On Wednesday, I went to my first Pilates Reformer class. I was suggested to go to this class by the guy who joined me up to the gym as it would be less pressure on my ankles as it's done on a Pilates Reformer bed and not as weight loading on my ankles.

A Pilates Reformer machine.
A Pilates Reformer Machine looks a bit like some kind of torture chamber/contraption when you first see it. However, when you see people laying down on it to do their exercise, you immediately feel much better about bing able to use it yourself. Work out while laying down? Yes, please!

The machine uses springs to increase resistance, along with a sliding bed, straps for hands/feet, a bar for pressure, and a box to do some back workouts on. My gym has 13 machines set up in a small room:
Pilates Reformer class at the gym.
The class went for 55 minutes, and worked on stretching different parts of the body in a repetitious manner. Arms, legs, abs, back, shoulders - you name it, it was stretched! The was a big focus on breathing throughout, as well as positioning of the body, including keeping feet together a fair bit. Some of the stretches felt good, and others were real tough work to do, especially doing them several times over. I think I will be feeling the after-effects for a few days yet! The class was a beginner's class and there were a few others who had never been to one before, but the instructor showed us how to set up and use the machine, and also came around the class to give instructions to individuals for body positioning and whatnot, which was very helpful.

I would like to go again, but I'm not sure when it is on at a time that suits me once I go back to work. I think it would be better than regular Pilates as there is the use of resistance rather than your own weight so you can't phone it in as much. I will still try a regular Pilates class as I've never done one (have done Yoga which was a killer). I felt like I worked harder in this class than BodyPump, and I didn't get any pains in the body (apart from the regular for being inflexible/a newbie), as it is harder to not position yourself correctly on the machine.

Have you ever done a Pilates Reformer class? Do you do regular Pilates? Do you prefer Yoga or a mix of the two? Do you hate these mind/body classes and prefer to do regular stretch or weights work?

It's Me Again...

I have been really busy at work the last month or so and I haven't had much to blog about. It has been in my mind i need to write something, but I've had a total lack of material.

Let me fill you in on my Sunday:
Wrapped the world's most awkwardly shaped present into a really ridiculous shape for my Grandma's birthday (if you're wondering what's inside, it was a jar of marmalade and a box of teabags from T2).

Baked some cinnamon scrolls. The whole house smelled delicious.

Joined a new gym. Their membership card fits in the bottom of my drink bottle!
We also went out for dinner to Saltimbocca in Cheltenham for dinner for my Grandma's birthday, which I'm not a huge fan of because the whole menu is pasta, risotto, and lasagne. There are three meals that aren't pasta based (I don't like pasta) but they were steak, duck, and barramundi, and were all nearly $40 which I was not going to pay for a meal. There's not any pizzas so I can't even order a cheese-less pizza. I wound up ordering a calamari entree as a main with a side of roast potatoes, so phew I could eat! And it was very nice.

The gym has been going good so far. I'm really enthusiastic about going, and even if I don't get the weightloss (which has never happened when I go to the gym) I feel like I'm doing all I can for my health when I combine it with good eating (which I'm pretty good at and getting better still) so I don't feel as bad about myself. All the weight I put on when I moved to the US has never come off and I've been home for over 3 years now so it's a bit ridiculous. I've recently been diagnosed with tarsal coalition which I think has been a bit of a mental block subconsciously with exercise in the past, but I will explain more about tarsal coalition in another post (for those who are interested). I initially went back to my old gym to enquire about prices (a Fitness First within a 2 minute walk from my house) and the guy wanted me to pay a joining fee (which was waived the last time I rejoined) and had the fees at $56/fortnight, a $13/fortnight jump from last year! Insane. Even though it was the second last day of the month, he was not willing to budge at all. I walked out and found that there is a Goodlife a 2 minute drive from home, and they had a great special of $200 for the first 4 months, then $19.95/week after the first four months and no lock in contract after paying the first 4 months upfront (which is cheap when worked out month-to-month). I've been the last two days and done spin (when I nearly fainted in the first 5 minutes of the class! Note to self - don't eat breakfast 30 minutes before your first spin class in a year) and BodyPump today. I think next time I do BodyPump I will be able to push further with the weights - today was more about refamiliarising myself with the class. The Goodlife has a pool which is important with my ankle condition, and their classes are on at better times than the dodgy Fitness First anyway, so all good! Wish me luck!

How was your weekend?
